About the person

Wolfgang Schmatz focuses on providing ongoing tax advice on corporate tax law, preparing tax returns and assisting with tax audits. Mr. Schmatz also supports the auditing team in annual audits. After studying business administration at the University of Passau and the Technical University of Lisbon, he worked as a tax assistant in the Transaction Tax (M&A Tax) department at Ernst & Young Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft GmbH in Munich from 2009 to 2013 and passed the tax consultant exam in 2012. Wolfgang Schmatz has been working as a tax consultant at BERGEMANN SCHÖNHERR & PARTNER since 2013.
