About the person
Frank Schönherr is the founding partner and namesake of the firm. His focus is on advising national and international companies on tax structuring. He also specializes in providing ongoing and conceptual tax advice to entrepreneurs, family businesses and capital market-oriented companies. He also supports our clients with his expertise in corporate transformations and reorganizations. Frank Schönherr is also your first point of contact when it comes to group tax law and international tax law, as well as assisting with voluntary disclosures. From 1990 to 1993, Frank Schönherr studied finance at the Bavarian Civil Service College in Herrsching am Ammersee. He gained his first professional experience at the tax authorities in Saxony before moving to Ernst & Young in Munich in 1997. In 1999, Frank Schönherr successfully passed his examination as a tax consultant. From 2001 to 2010, he advised as a founding partner at RP Richter & Partner. In 2011, he founded the law firm BERGEMANN SCHÖNHERR & PARTNER with six other colleagues. Frank Schönherr is the author of numerous specialist publications in professional journals on the topics of accounting and reorganization tax law. He has also commented on the German Reorganization Tax Act §§ 3-5 Haase/Hruschka (ed.).
