About the person

Christian Hackenberg advises and represents our clients in the field of banking and capital markets law, including money laundering and data protection law. He also supports our clients with his expertise in matters relating to company law and corporate transactions. As an experienced litigator, he is also forensically active in complex disputes. Christian Hackenberg studied law at the LMU Munich and gained professional experience in various law firms specializing in commercial law in southern Germany and Sydney from 2000 onwards. From 2004 to September 2024, he was a founding partner in a medium-sized law firm in Munich. Christian Hackenberg has been a partner at BERGEMANN SCHÖNHERR & PARTNER since October 2024. He is a member of the working group for regulatory issues in the Association of Independent Asset Managers (VuV) e.V. and a founding member of the German Bar Association’s working group on banking and capital market law. He has published in various commentaries and legal journals for many years and is a regular speaker.
