Attorney-at-law Christian Hackenberg advises and represents our clients in the area of banking and capital markets law, including aspects related to money laundering and data protection law. He also supports our clients with his expertise in corporate law and business transactions. Additionally, he is an experienced litigator in complex commercial disputes.

Christian Hackenberg studied law at LMU Munich and gained professional experience from 2000 onwards in various commercial law firms in Southern Germany and Sydney. From 2004 to September 2024, he worked as a founding partner in a mid-sized law firm in Munich. Since October 2024 Christian Hackenberg is Partner at BERGEMANN SCHÖNHERR & PARTNER.

He is a member of the Working Group on Regulatory Issues in the Association of Independent Asset Managers (VuV) e.V. and a founding member of the Banking and Capital Markets Law Working Group of the German Bar Association. He has been publishing in various commentaries and legal journals for many years and is regularly active as a speaker.
